Intern at DelveBlue

Play a Role in Engineering the AI Native Enterprise

For Up and Coming AI Researchers & Builders

At DelveBlue, we believe the enterprise of the future won’t just “adopt AI” — it will be redesigned around it. Just as the DelveBlue tested the edges of flight with experimental aerodynamics, our lab tests the edges of what enterprises can become in an AI-first world.

That takes research. That takes building. And we’re calling for both.

We’re opening 10 internship spots:

  • 5x AI Research Interns
  • 5x AI Agent Interns
DelveBlue Test Flight

Track One: AI Research Interns

Help us explore what it truly means for a company to be AI-native. Each research intern will choose a subtrack — Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, or HR — and focus their efforts there.

You’ll work with our team to:

  • Investigate how AI could reshape your chosen function.
  • Identify workflows best suited for automation, and explain why AI should do it.
  • Spot the tasks where humans must stay in the loop — and why replacing them would weaken outcomes.
  • Draft research briefs that map the balance of AI and human effort in your area.
  • Contribute to company-level AI-native designs that show how entire enterprises should be structured around AI.

Who should apply: If you’re a strong writer, a sharp researcher, and curious about how work gets divided between people and machines, this is your track.

Track Two: AI Builder Interns

Turn research into reality. While the research interns identify which workflows should be automated, you’ll be the ones actually trying to automate them.

You’ll get hands-on with agent tools and workflows to:

  • Prototype AI agents directly on the workflows flagged by the research track as “automation-worthy.”
  • Build and test systems across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, and HR.
  • Experiment with multi-agent setups, copilots, and automations — stress-testing where they work and where they fail.
  • Run small pilots to see how agents perform in practice, not just in theory.
  • Help create new playbooks for how agents can transform work at scale.

Who should apply: If you like to tinker, build, and break things to see what’s possible — this is your track.

What You’ll Get

  • Front-row seat at the frontier — Join live projects with CIOs, founders, and transformation leads.
  • Hands-on impact — Whether you’re writing research or building agents, your work will shape deliverables used by enterprises.
  • Mentorship — Learn how to connect AI research, design, and implementation in a way few people are doing today.
  • Future pathways — Internships often lead to paid roles or collaborations; at minimum, you’ll walk away with rare skills and strong portfolio pieces.

The Details

  • Location: Remote-first (Sydney HQ, global partners).
  • Time: Flexible part-time, enough to contribute meaningfully each week.
  • Duration: 3–4 months, with extension opportunities.
  • Compensation: Unpaid — this is about access, learning, and contribution. (Paid roles often emerge for standout interns.)

How to Apply

Send us a short note on:

  1. Which track you’re applying for (Research or Builder).
  2. Why you want to explore AI-native enterprise design.
  3. Something you’ve written, built, or researched that shows your curiosity.

Final Word

Like the DelveBlue, our lab exists to test the impossible and turn instability into new maneuverability. If you want to be one of the first 10 to help engineer the AI-native enterprise, now’s your chance.
